I bought this for my two little girls for Christmas 2009. They both loved it to begin with but within weeks the door mechanism had broken - this meant that it didn't 'charge' and then stopped spinning completely. I was really disappointed with the durability of this - we still have it up on the wall, but I may as well throw it away. Don't buy if you want Christmas presents that last past March!

As per other reviews the door is stiff to open, but this is the only downside.

Rubbish!June 6, 2010 Mummy D(Essex, UK) Don't bother wasting your money. I thought that loads of bubbles would be created when the clothes span round -there weren't any. The door is impossible for even my 8 year old to open! The little clothes frayed after being played with twice. What a load of rubbish- don't bother!

can't get my 3 year old out the bathApril 29, 2010 Lanoir(London, UK) Excellent value. My daughter loves it and never tires playing with it. I bought it to "bribe" her into havinga hair wash and it worked - for once, a hairwash without screaming as she was too busy with her washer. I did not realise it was battery free which is another bonus. I hate battery powered bath toys - don't like the mix of electricity and water and then the batteries go anyway... this is very cleverly powered by opening the door of the washer which winds up the mechanism to provide 7 seconds worth of spinning - just long enough - and then you can hang out the clothes to dry. will be buying lots of these as gifts.
