Product Description Beautifully-illustrated, well researched and pure fun! Players will have 10 seconds to study a card before being asked a question from the back, chosen by the roll of the die. If the question is answered correctly the card is kept, if not it is returned to the box. The player with the most cards after 10 minutes wins the game! A fun way to learn English history, from Stonehenge to Henry VIII to the Channel Tunnel.
Customer Reviews: History in a boxApril 8, 2010 crackers(England) I bought this game for my 9 year old grandaughter who adores history. The game is easy to follow, you can use it by yourself or with friends. My grandaughter is learning as she plays! Will buy more in this series.
Brainbox:HistoryJanuary 19, 2010 Christine Barrett(Worcestershire, England) This was a Christmas gift for my 10 year old Grandson and whilst we have played it once he prefers to play on the XBox or Wii or Playstation but I am sure it will come into its own once the excitement of Christmas is over. In fact I think I might skim through the cards before we play next time so I can memorise some answers. I think you need more than 10 seconds to read and remember the cards, particularly on your first few goes.
Fun for the whole familyJanuary 7, 2010 J. Lapham(Penzance) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Played this with "kids" aged 10-40 and ended up in fits of giggles. Now the youngest is asking for the other boxes too

quick fun game, can be played with as many people as you want for as long as you want. Kids might even learn a few facts whilst playing, which is a bonus!

My 9 and 13 year old love this game, they play it as a team so if there are 2 playing they get 20 secs to look at card then I ask alternate questions, passing to the other if the first doesn't know answer.Makes a great change from seeing them on the ps3!!
